How C.A.R. is elevating women in real estate leadership
This year, C.A.R. launched its Women’s Initiative to help elevate women to leadership positions at both the brokerage and senior management levels and create a community where mentors and leaders can communicate, collaborate, advocate for, and support one another.
In June, the Association held its inaugural WomanUP!™ conference in Pasadena. Over 300 women and men were present for a day of professional development devoted to giving powerful women bold tools to take their careers to the next level.
C.A.R. SVP and Chief Economist Leslie Appleton-Young and VP Sara Sutachan recently took the stage at Inman Connect San Francisco (ICSF) to talk about the initiative and WomanUP! event and also sat down with Inman for an in-depth discussion on the current state of women in the real estate industry.
